Multiple projects for Channel Tunnel Rail Link
Holleran has successfully completed a number of contracts on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), including the construction and project management of a new electrical sub-station and the feeder renewals associated with the bridge push at Ebbsfleet International Station, the largest bridge push in the country.
Providing Support for AMEC SPIE
As part of the continuing maintenance of the Southern Region's third rail system Holleran has provided a nucleus of project management and construction operatives that have supported AMEC SPIE since the late 1980's. Construction maintenance services include feeder cable renewal, extensive trough route works and minor civil engineering activities. Meticulous planning of every aspect of the work required ensures that all necessary labour, plant and materials are in place for the valuable track possession periods (usually at night or weekends).
Substation construction for power supply upgrade
Holleran has undertaken contracts for twenty-three substations for SABCO and a further twelve for Wessex Power Upgrade (WPU) also eight feeder routes for WPU and a further three for SABCO, equating to approximately 52km and 70km of track route respectively. Many of these track routes have more than one feeder route, the length of route therefore being in excess of the track route distance. The formation of these routes required the construction of over thirty under track crossings (UTXs), of which Millbrook is an example of one of the larger structures, it crosses seven roads and is approximately 54m in length.
